Blame were blame is due. Well I too have something to add to this. No I did not purchase a new (Block) and I will not shut the F--- up! For you that feel sorry for JB and think's he got rapped up in this new Block by accident? BS. I'm here to tell you I have found that JB has taken money before as a deposit (unrefundable) for both new and rebuilt engine blocks. For some time, in my case 18 months. JB has been avoiding me and after giving him the 50% deposit he requested for a complete engine/ trans rebuild and listening to JB many excuses I'm here to vent my .02 JB when you read this, I'm publicly asking for a full refund of what is owed to me. Gee.... Now lets step back for a minute...NOw why was no one is posting about the bull dog block? read the above and you have the answer.
Update: Things have been moving forward on the TA 455 aluminum block. Cad drawings are about 70% complete. I'm very hopeful at this time that we will have a casting by the beginning of next year. Questions, please feel free to call us at anytime.
We have all had to put up with grief from the aftermarket just to BE Buick owners/drivers/racers, all the way back to the days when Kenne-Bell was the only game in town. I was just tipping my hat to the folks whose tolerance for BS is surpassed by their desire to build their ultimate Buick. The bottom line is, in the end some folks have/will have a new block and some wont
Your engine is nestled on the dyno ready for pulls. Pre runin is completed. No excuses, sorry it took so long, As I told you in I beleive early May, I had yours scheduled in . Jim Burek
the TA block is not yet in production, still being in the development phase and thus, is not priced yet. the Bulldog block depends on a whole variety of machining and pouring options, not the least of which is whether you want the block in cast iron or aluminum. check out www.paeenterprises.com and you should figure it out pretty quick. i think the cast block was starting around $3500?
I think it's worth noting that the Bulldog block is not in production yet also. Chris i think you've got a disagreement with Makley, not me.
I've Read this over and over and can't figure out why Chris has an issue with me. I don't build the block nor do I have any control over it I can say that there was some very minor changes made to the core after we built the first one. The kind of minor things that help people out in the long run but have no major effect on the over all product. But As far as I know I have no issue with Chris nor should he have any with me.
Chris says the Bulldog block isn't in production ... you say you've got one and you know more are coming off the line. or am i misconstruing your position?
Back the truck! First off, Bobb Makley and I have NO problems at all. As a matter of fact Bobb has helped me out in the pass, I thanked him then and I'll thank him again when I meet him in person. I always try to keep up on Bobb's projects the best I can because I think there cool. Bobb doesn't build the block, he is NOT bulldog! My problem is with Dick Bradshaw only, and my only problem with him is how he conducts business and how he has divided the buick community. I only pointed out the blocks are not a production piece, he can't fill the 24 or so orders that have been waiting for 4 or 5 years. Bobb keep up the good work your a asset to the buick community :TU: Chris
I'll probably never be able to afford a Bulldog block OR a TA block.... but I'm excited that they are coming out. Why? ... you might ask.... Because hopefully in the next year or two I'm going to score a great deal on one bad@ss "old" 455 that somebody is replacing with a Bulldog or TA block, and I'm going to drop it in my tubbed 67. p  :TU:
Jim....... Jim, shop where you want and I'll shop where I want. As I said My problem is how Dick does business. What does TA have to do with this? Why did I stepped up to the plate like I did to buy 2 bulldog blocks ou: Re:Edelbrock heads, my point was that most any edelbrock heads I've seen over the years have not flowed that great. Your only bitter because you can't keep a 500hp buick together so you call them junk and move onto a bowtie ou: you gave up before you ever started o No: .I've watched you stir up the crap on here for along time, chev this bowtie that, it's getting old Jim. Thanks......Chris
