    Totally new to this site...
My very first questions is this...
Once I get my 1972 Buick Skylark 350 fired up and warm, the class fuel filter starts to get air in it. The fuel pressure stays between 5 and 7psi. So, when I go to step on the gas pedal it is not gettiing enough fuel to make it run like it does when its cold. I have replaced everything from the gas tank to the carb on the engine...electric pump, and another canister fuel filter between the pump and the fuel pressure regulator.
It has an after market TA performance intake, headers, with 3" pipes running all the way back to the rear end.
Can any one please help me with this?

Are you saying that it has a flat spot or a hesitation when you hit the gas warm?

    Thanks for replying...
But I just took it out again and there was no hesitation, but I looked under the hood and the little glass filter between the fuel pressure gage and 600cfm Edelbrock carb now has air in it. the gage is still at 6psi

It seems that once the car gets warm it just not getting enough fuel some how.
Not sure if this could be cause by something else other than the fuel system.

Im not sure I follow you. Is there a drivability problem your experiencing or you just dont like the fact that you see air in the filter?

    Sorry

No this problem is with its drivability
once there's enough air in the filter it bogs when I hit the gas...
It seems like its just not getting enough gas once it heats up.

Jason it sounds like he has a dead spot in the carb.

What your seeing in the fuel filter is normal. It will never look to be completley full. Thats just how they work.

Now the hesitation your having is probably a timing issue or a carb problem. First thing i'd try would be a good can of carb cleaner and make sure everything is working as smoothly as possible. Then go from there.

    Thank you Joe.
I actually took the carb out and made sure the floats were good as well as ran air through the fuel ports to blow anything that might be clogging them up.
The timing is at 4 degrees like recommended, and the dwell degree is at 30

Thank you guys for helping out guys. I will re check the timing and I took the carb off again and cleaned it in and out.
    Thank s again

Buicks like lots of timing. More than the tag says. This may give better pull.

Check the vacume diaphragm to see if it is busted and leaking...
