    Doo Wop Where were you in '62?

    Do you know a friendly GM parts counter person, he/she should be able to look up the number.

    Hah, that's a good one! Not around here, just a Chebby dealer and anything older than 2000 (and especially not a chebby) and they don't want to talk about it.

    THANKS! :TU::TU:

    See, I knew my friendly V8Buick guys would have it faster than calling Lawrence Hall Chebrolet... :)

    thepartsman Back Ordered Again ?

    Just in case:

    '71 LeSabre rear bumper was a 1237528 w/o bumper cushion

    '72 rear with cushion was a 1239489

    '72 rear w/o bumper cushion was a 1238727

    ALL bumpers must be drilled for holes if installing bumper guards.

    Mitchell shows '71 & '72 bumpers w/o bumper cushions being the same.

    So you can see the retrofit of the two years with probably only a small degree of difference.
    Mitchell manuals were only as good as the info provided to them by GM.
