Give me a ballpark, it's a '67 Special or Skylark, I think Special. It's a 2-door post, 57K original miles, NICE interior, very bare bones, no options, originally a 3 on the tree. Now has a 455 Olds motor in it, clean installation, no other mods. This thing is nearly SPOTLESS bodywise, has original paint everywhere with some primer shot on it. I repeat, body is NICE with no Bondo anywhere! However...rust in floors and trunk!!! I don't know how, this thing is nearly perfect but has floor rust, wierdest thing because it is not rotten otherwise! Oh yeah, it's metallic beige on beige with rubber floor mats. It's truly a neat car but needs some simple pan work. Give me an idea so I know whether to buy this thing or not, thanks!!!

    gs4u2c Is that a 442?

A very nice Special with original paint, no mods and 125K miles is for sale for $2600 here locally. I doubt the car you are describing has not been flipped over 100K at least once by the primer, rust, and incorrect motor... It would be worth more with a stock 340 than with the Olds motor. Though it's probably more fun to drive.
