What's with the database???

For the last few days it's about 50-50 odds that I'm gonna get a database error when I try to access the board. Am I the only one?o No:

 

Dick it has happened to me also a few times this weekend . Other than that life is good !:laugh: :beer

 

I get real edgy when I can't have my V8 fix.

 

I've been getting it sporadically too. Including the edgy partp

 

I also had it happen a couple of times. But when I went to the BPG site and used their link to the V8 board, it worked fine.

So I deleted my bookmark for the site, then loaded it again thru the BPG link, bookmarked it again, and now it works fine again.

 

I've been seeing the error too

on an off. though it lasts minutes as opposed to seconds.

Hopefully the upgrade this month (?) will solve this?? we hope!

I just had a scare when the board went down so I went out to the shop in the cold rain to make sure the V8 in my GS didn't go down!

 

I got the 'error' message earlier...kicked me off for 1-1.5hrs.ou:

This is getting old..

Board is too large to be moved easily, as the database is HUGE.

Mike talked to the owner of the current host on Friday, and he is building a killer new server, with all the latest gizmos, and lightning speed.. should be done by the end of January.

We may hold off on the upgrades till then, but I sure hope this deal with the database goes away soon.

It prolly will..

Hang in there guys, we are going with what we feel is the best solution here.
