Does anyonw know how to re-seal spokes on some tru-spoke rims that i have since purchased from my last post?

One rim will not hold air and the former owner used tubes to drive on the wheel. I would like to drive with out a tube.

I heard duct tape or maybe silicone?

Not sure if it applies to car wheels but on an episode of American Chopper they had true spoke wheels for a bike, and once together and balanced, they used a tube of industrial roofing cement I think. It was black, think and looked just like what you'd stick a shingle down with. It was in a tube to be used it in a caulking gun and they applied it as someone else turned the wheel.

then they used a plastic spreader to smooth it out again as someone else turned the wheel being careful not to spread it too thin to hit the spoke nipples. Looked like a neat job.
