Yup, probably a broken record on this and did some searching with no real answer. I found the lower 1/4 panels for my 65 Lark i need thanks to everyones searching here but now i am looking for patch panels for the outer rear wheel wells. I could fiberglass mine but IMO it would be faster to just cut out the bad, weld in the new and have a better look in the end. So now i have a question? After standing back and staring at the car in frustration i see the front wheel well opening is almost the same to the rear with the exception that the rear has more flare. Has anyone here tried to cut out the wheel well opening from a front fender and tried to make it work on the rear and would it be worthwhile to trash a set of fenders for this?

No one out there replacing the metal or just fortunate to have good metal? I have been looking at other 1/4's to see what may fit. So far i am thinking of trying 1/4's for a 65 Impala as they look close to the Skylark. But this is a $500 gamble just to cut up the 1/4's for the wheelwell and still may need to cut and modify to get the rake correct. With all the 65's i see out there someone must have an answer. Thanks.
