    Hello guys,

Here is my 72 Skylark with 17" American racing Salt Flat (8 and 9.5).
Before i had some Cragar Street Star...and i had the same strange feeling....
My question is : is it normal that my wheels seem not to be in the right place in the wheelarches? :Do No:
It looks like they are too far in the rear....
What do you think??? is it the same on all Skylark??
(My car doesn't seems to have been damaged or something else....)

Take a look at the upper control arm shafts. Is there an excessive amount of shims on the rear bolts? Are both sides the same way? When was the last time the car was aligned?

i assume you are talking about the fronts? it does look like there is a lot of positive camber which the previous post indicated with the amount of shims on the upper control arm mounts. the more + caster the better the car should handle. the rims look great. good luck.

Looks about the way it did on my old Skylark and on my current GS. There is roughly the same distance between the bottom edge of the wheel opening as there is in the back.
