My cousins are delivering a new RV from it's place of manufacture in Iowa to it's new home in Anchorage, AK. They stopped in at a museum in Fort Nelson, BC to see what they had. What they had (among a lot of other things) was a 1908 Buick. Not just any 1908 Buick. To commemorate the Buick's 100th birthday in 2008, it was decided to drive it to Whitehorse Yukon Territory and back, a distance of 600 miles each way. It set off with two support cars. The Buick ran perfectly for the entire 1,200 mile round trip. Both support cars broke down. True story. :)

Man, that is impressive. I've driven the Alaska Highway when I moved up there, and it is no small feat. Lots of isolated area out there, but absolutely gorgeous in the spring time when I moved back to Montana.
