Looking to buy a new enclosed car trailer with enough room to carry some tools, drag radials and a few extra parts. Nothing too long, must look good and be easy to tow.

Midwest area IL, IN, OH, or MI.

    Will possibly consider used.

    What should I look for?

    How much do these cost?

How long will these trailers last?

    Any brands better than others?

    Thanks in advance. :TU:

there is a glut of trailer manufacturers in Elkhart Indiana, Pace, Haulmark,Vintage, and many more!

what will you be pulling this trailer with?

what type, length, and weight is your car?

You definately want electric brakes on both axles! don't let anyone tell you you don't need them.

prices will very with the trim and options you order, as well as length.

    bumper pull? gooseneck?

if your hauling a GS you will want to consider at minimum 24ft to allow room for extras.

you can find many manufactures online to do some research on which trailer will fit your budget.

    good luck in your search,

Currently I have a Dodge Ram extracab with 5.9L that I use to pull a 28' boat that weighs over 5,000 lbs, I don't even know it's behind me. I am getting a new GMC 1500 or 2500 very soon with either 5.3L or 6.0L gas engine. I don't trailer very often.

I have electric brakes now and it is a world of difference.

I will use this to tow my GS and my Trans Am. 24' sounds about right.

Any range for price $$$ ???
