where can i find...alternator/power steering brackets?

for those of you who talked to me before...i havent been on in a while. But thats because i was making all the preparations for the rebuilt455 that im putting in my 70 lark!! yup, i decided to go for the gusto, toss my 350, and put in the 455. :Brow: so far the only hitch is that the company i ordered the motor from says the brackets arent the same for powersteering and alternator since i dont have a donor 455, and they say that no one manufactures them to their knowledge. any clues? i used a junkyard search online, and im waiting on that, but any other info would be great. thanks

I don't know if it will fit, but I have a p/s pump bracket from a '67 430 if it will help you. It might be different. Let me know if you can't find one.

 

Do you have A/C on your car ? just need to know because i might be able to help you.

 

I swapped my 350 for a BBB, and all the brackets just swapped over, and I have AC. you don't need to buy brackets. I had to some shimming for exact pulley line up, but is was no big deal. Joe

 

I have BB PS brackets for the alum PS bracket coming soon!!

My buddy used a non-AC alternator bracket from a 70s 231 V6 car. Had no problems.
