www.taperformance.com or www.postonbuick.com ....not exactly sure. Shouldn't be hard to find, though.
Those are definitely Postons.I have also heard of people getting some that were warped.I can't say personally as I have the TA's.But Postons other products are of pretty good quality.Could have been a bad production run.The TA's I have fit like a glove and I haven't had one drop of oil come from between the head and valve cover in the past year they have been on. :TU:
Or, it could have been because someone torqued the bolts down too tight and warped them. If you bought them used check first, its very common for this to occur. I wouldnt be so fast to say that poston sold warped valve covers. Either way i like the BUICK script on the TA performance variety better than the ones pictured above. I think they use the factory script from the stage II V6 years which i prefer.
I bought new Poston valve covers a couple years ago, they came in warped, definitely not from over-torqueing, would not seal, even after Jim W planed them down considerably for me, could still see the warp. Year One exchanged them for me, for TA covers. IMHO, the TA covers look like a million bucks compared to the Poston covers. Much better attention to detail in the finish/paint, clean up from machining, etc. Perfectly flat too. I guess you can tell which I would recommend...
Hey David or anyone else can you post a picture of TA valve covers that are black and Buick hi-lighted thanks...Frank
OK, David isn't about t othrow his neck out there, and neither am I. BUT!!!!! Buy TA! Opps, did I say that? Aubrey
