Hi, My wife clipped a mailbox with her passenger mirror on her car. It's an '08 Hyundai Veracruz. The mirror was $715 from the dealer, plus tax, paint, and installation. $1,000 for a $%&*^%$$ side mirror. They must have just gotten back from Colorado. Anyway, I found one at a salvage yard but it's the wrong color. Does anyone know where I can get a spray can of touch-up paint? I've seen it before, I just don't know where to get it. Any help would be appreciated.
Any automotive paint supplier should be able to mix a rattle can of matching paint, and Dupli-Color has small touch up spray cans available at most automotive supply stores. NAPA, Autozone, Pep Boys to name a few. Spray a test piece to male sure it's a reasonably close match to your original color. :TU:
http://www.automotivetouchup.com/ used them more than once. quick shipping and the color match has been right on the money
Phil, Just contact Sean Ryder here, http://www.v8buick.com/member.php?17430-gbsean He hooked me up with everything I needed to spray my speaker kick panels. Great price and I picked everything up at a store close to me. PM him.
It's a miracle. The mirror showed up today. I opened the box and said "This thing isn't silver/grey. It's the kacki color of my wife's car!!!!" Unbelievable. God was really looking out for me today. Plugged the mirror in and everything worked great. Happy wife, happy life.
