Where will you be in 4 weeks?

I know it is early for roll call, so just checking to make certain that wrenches are spinning and everyone is getting ready for the visit to the mecca of Pure Stocks.


Myself, the car has not been fired up since Marin and I need to replace an exhaust manifold gasket. I also need to burn some gas out of the tank. The truck is getting closer to ready (making some minor modifications) and making it more dependable. By the time I am done with the truck, I should have no problem going anywhere. The issue is will I ever be done?o No:

 

you know, I was just thinking yesterday I need to get my butt in gear on the GT-37. Tomorrow I plan on stopping by the paint store for paint so I can put the correct hood on the GT-37. Hood is already stripped, just needs some minor work. I really hope I can get a tach with a shift light too, but money is tight now. And finishing my tuneup wouldn't be a bad idea either. As for the worn out posi, thats a winter project. 3.90s perhaps :Brow:

regardless, 4 weeks from now I will be in Stanton and I really hope it is WITH car.

I will be there for my first trip to the PSMCD. I will be bringing my 66 Tri-Power GTO.

 

Well after a untimely and expensive rear Axle replacement My Impala will be there. Looking forward to seeing everyone... Hope we can get donny started lol

Hopefully in Stanton. Still as a spectator. Any suggestions on hotels in the area. I had a great time at Martin, suffering thru withdrawals at this point.

Well,after pulling 428 out of the Mustang last night,I'll be thrashing for the next month just to get it running right for Stanton.Oh yeah,I'm racing in 2 weeks at a local 3 day race here in MN,spetzman said he's coming,so I'd better get my act together!! Bent the #6 intake valve in martin .I've barely had time to notice the awful miss the car has,till now....

 

Going to union grove to get some more track time tommorow nite:3gears: Been running a summer series with the Chicagoland Gs club.

Wayne you need to get some better valve springs than stock the 428s need stronger springs.If you need factory valves I have some extras.Steve :3gears:

 

We will be bringing my Road Runner to Stanton. Just got back from the Muncie Dragway Showroom Stock race, a little tuneup for Stanton.
