A couple of my friends had the same issue when landing in Keene, NH. The deer damaged the cowling and the right main landing gear of the Bonanza. The cowling was beaten into something resembling it's original shape, and the right landing gear was essentially bolted down with a piece of steel angle iron, the deer missed the propeller - no-one could figure out how, but the Deer lost his battle with the wing and landing gear. When the smoke cleared, it was about a $12,000 landing.
