hi, i'm wondering which carb would be best for my combo. i'm hoping some of you buick gods can help me with this one. i've gotten to many opinions from to many people to make a proper decision. my car is a 69 sport wagon with a tremec 5 speed, 323 posi, 455 with a TAc113 cam, b4b, headers, and 400 heads with very mild porting. most of the miles are hwy between 1800 and 2300 rpm. car probably weighs 4900 lbs as its loaded. might even weigh more. my choices so far are holley 4781, mighty demon 850 annular, and gsca's offering of the 870 avenger. future mods will be 373 gears and TA's aluminum heads. personally i've been leaning towards the 850 annular because of the fuel atomization at lower rpm but i'm not sure if this principle applies to big block buicks as it does for 350 chevs. whatever the choice, i would kind of like the bolt on and forget it approach. thanks for any help you can provided. cheers Pete.

I have the demon 850 and love it, it might be even better with the stick compared to the automatic. Nobody around here can believe a big buick can have such good throttle response. I plan on running mine pretty hard at the track when I get a chance but also like how well it cruises.
Steve :TU: A well tuned Q-jet is also good!
