I recently changed my steering from power to manual on my '69 skylark. The box i traded for came with a pitman arm on it. When i installed it in the car the hole on the pitman arm that attatches to the center link was to big. So i took the pitman arm of my brother inlaws '71 skylark and the hole for the center link was correct, however the arm was too big to fit onto the manual box.

So does anyone know what i need? Since i dont know what year the pitman arm was from when i traded for the box and it maybe a pre- '68 model, does that mean i need a '68-'72 manual steering arm??

Might i need to trade out my center link?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

    Thanks, Will

    Will,
Hello, there are two different manual strg pitman arms used on '64-72 GM A-bodys. The difference in the two, is the size of the hole where the centerlink attachs. Will be back at warehouse later today & will write the casting numbers down from one I have on one of my keepers. What is the casting number on the manual pitman arm you have?

    Got Posi?
