Davy Hello all, I am in the market for a new converter and am not sure of which one to get. I don't have the money for a switch pitch so I am looking for a all around street/strip converter. I currently have a stock converter in there and I am guessing it is like in the 1600 range? The set up I am running now is as follows. 1972 Riviera (Weight unknown exactly but I know it is heavy) 468cid 8.5:1 turbo 400 automatic column shifter (stock converter) Speed Pro 3000 dead center - good idle, power range 1500-4500, Duration (.50 lift 214/224) (.006 lift 290/300) Valve lift (int .460) (exh .493) Lobe C/L 112 Lobe Center (107 intake) (117 exhaust). posi 3.23 tires cooper cobra 275/60/R15 performer intake holley 750 duel feed, vacuum (soon to be 870 Holley street avenger) HP mechanical fuel pump HEI ignition 76 Electra (soon to be a Poston HEI w/performance curve) Shorty Headers, X-pipe, 2.5 exhaust, dynomax ultraflow mufflers speed at 70mph / Rpms are at about 2700/2800 Thank you all for you time and advice on the subject.
