i live in Kirtland, about 30 min east of Cleveland. Lived in Cleveland all my life, but go to college in Mobile, Alabama. Glad to meet you! Tony Rose
Hey Moses! Take it easy on the Browns. God left you in wilderness once - He can do it again. (actually I haven't watched an NFL game since the real Browns left town) By the way, I am located in Stow, NE of Akron. John - see you at the meeting. Steve Gray
sounds like about everybodys from the other side of the state anyone know of any buick people or shops in the nw area that know their buicks?,jeff
Geesh, I don't read the post for a day and then when I do everyone is slamming my web page! Its www.penn-ohioperformance.com and you don't pay 16$ to add your name to the page, you pay 16$ to a part of the Penn-Ohio Performance Buick Club which is a chapter of the GSCA. There are many great members in the club with years and years of Buick experience. I created the page just to get out the word of the meetings and members. I'm far from an expert in the web building field, but the other penn-ohio page was like a million years old. At least the one I do is updated occassionally. If anyone is interested in the penn-ohio club we are having a club meeting this Sunday starting at 1pm at the Icehouse Inn in Austintown. Gee, I can imagine how people would rip apart my newsletter too........ou: By the way.......shhhhhhhhhhh but I'm not a Cleveland Browns fan either.:bglasses:
Renee, Don't worry about the comments about the web page, most of us guys wouldn't even be on the web if it weren't for our Buicks. We do it all for the cars.
Hi Renee, i like the web page much better than the Browns anyways. Also, the newsletter you created is Fantastic! You can tell that a lot of time was put into it. Will miss you guys on Sun. leaving for North Carolina on thursday. Wonder if anybody from this site is in the Newport, Moorehead City, or Cherry Point area??? Randy (Willowick Ohio 15 miles east of Cleveland)
It probably isnt loading right for me, why it looks so jumbled. I get that all the time using Opera. Matt
OLD BUCKEYE Born in Painesville (1944), raised in Willoughby. I Left in Oct 1968 (voluntarily). Never went back.
I'm from Ohio.... I'm originally from Dayton, but I've been living in Toledo now for the past 10 years (Wow.....I'm getting old !!!!!). We used to have a Northwest Ohio Buick Chapter several years ago, but I believe it's now defunct. However, we still get together every once in awhile at various cruise nites here in T-Town !!!!!!!
Jeff, Heard last year that there was a NW Ohio Buick club being formed. Supposedly in the Sandusky/Toledo Area. I will ask around and see if I can get any info on it for you. Steve Gray Penn-Ohio
Re: OLD BUCKEYE Hey Skip, you didn't miss much here in the 35 years you have been gone, just the crappy weather that's here 9 months out of the year, the orange barrels & roads that resemble Baghdad. Randy
BACK WHEN When I lived there I had a red/red 65 GS 4-speed convertible. Loved sneakin up on those GTO's! Don't miss Ohio much (miss the trees) but I sure miss that car.:ball: I hope it is still around someplace. If any of you Chardon folks know Dave Ristimaki, say hi to him for me. 2nd (?) cousin.
UPDATE: Add me to the Ohio list. I broke down and moved this summer. Now a resident of Boardman! :3gears:
Location Wadsworh (West of Akron) Not too far from crazy Phil. How long will Cleveland sports be cursed?
