Look under engine build post in this section. Jim W. listed engine builders with contact info in that post. I don't remember if Earick racing engines was listed but are respected as are most of the others. Contact the engine builders with your needs directly and get some references from each. A full weight GS with pump gas engine to reach mid tens will be a very expensive engine. I would suggest you build a nice engine and put nitrous on it to meet your goal. I would say that mid tens on motor is going to be less than friendly to drive on a regular bassis at full weight with stock style suspension. A nice mid eleven second car with a small nitrous kit and you get the best of both worlds. I don't endorse any engine builder as I have always used local machine work and done the assembly myself (except one bad experience). The best builder is the one that will stand behind their work when there is a problem and they all will have a problem if they haven't yet. Ask for a reference that has had a problem and ask that reference how the problem was dealt with, I would bet that each builder can come up with a good reference that will sing their praises but the bad experience turned good tells the real tale.

idareya, I have a hydraulic cam motor listed in the "parts for sale" section for much cheaper then you can build one for and it will put a full weight GS in the 10's (it ran a best of 10.62 in my full weight GS). It was driven on the street and to and from the track for a while but I would run good gas unless you don't plan on running it hard.

Idareya - For what it's worth....best way to run 10's AND run pump gas - ATI Procharger with Intercooler!!!

    They've got a 1st Gen Camaro with a 454 running over 900hp on 91 octane!!:TU: :TU:

BTW, what part of Upstate are you in? I know a couple of good engine builders - one in Ithaca and one in Syracuse.
