does any national pharmacy chain have better prices than any other ? it probably depends what you're buying, or possibly what region. i just had to buy some plavix & lipitor and a one month supply cost me about $ 240.00 :jd: at CVS. this is for my heart attack, and i will need to take it for life. counting the 3rd script my meds will cost me about $3 K per year for life. i dont have health insurance so of course i need to find the store with the best price. i'm thinking CVS is probably one of the highest priced chains. what do you use ? small chain store ? online pharmacy ? is it hard to get drugs from canada ? i dont mind breaking any customs laws if i can get safe, quality Rx's, i dont care about the FDA corporate shills in washington, i will do whats best for my health. who has the best prices ?
Hope you can find a good pharmacy. My buddy in North Carolina has a little boy who has been through 4 operations since Dec. on his stomach. They gave him 100 pills 3 weeks back to weaken the nerve responses in his stomach. The pills cost them $5000, and he will need to take 25 more pills when those are finished. We can't afford to get sick these days.
Coworker gets hers from Canada. We work in a damn PHARMACY and get the stuff AT COST! (Our cost, but still) She also doesn't appearantly have any insurance covering prescriptions, though I'm not quite sure why. P.S. This is the thread that everyone thinks dominates the Buick message board when I tell them about it :rant:
Just to let you know my father works at CVS and if you do not have a prescription plan CVS is one of the higher priced stores.
thank you all, thats good stuff to know. i just got turned down for state aid for the hospital bill which makes it hard. estimated bill $ 30- 40 K, somehow, by having over $ 2500 in my savings i am too rich for state aid. um, $2500 goes into 40,000 how many times ? i'm too poor to pay, and too rich for assistance. its enough to make a guy feel like giving up his restoration project. dont get sick or hurt, once you go to the hospital you are basically signing a blank check. this nation needs natl health care now. if ya dont have your health, you dont have anything. you and i pay much of the bill for congress and federal employees to have the finest healthcare in the nation, soooooooo, how about i pay more so i can have coverage for myself too ? it aint gonna happen under this administration thats for D sure ! to be fair, it didnt happen back in the 90's when some bozo from arkansas used it in his campaign either. i better stop now, can ya tell i'm having a bad day ? :af: :af: :af:
Henry Zocor has been around longer and may be cheaper than " Limpator" You know what I mean. It is virtually the same drug and should cost less. I have been on it for over 3 years with no side effects. I tried Limpator and had -- the side effect John
