I did a search for this but didn't get any hits. Interested in kits for 70-76 q-jets, primarily 800cfm models from big blocks. I see alot of different units from Carter, Holley, etc. for sale, but not sure which manufacturer has the most complete kits with the best parts. It would help if you mentioned an approximate cost of the kits you like as well.
Thanks in advance for your response, Randy

    Randy,
Most kits have the same gaskets, the difference in price comes from the hard parts included with the kit. 'Rebuild kits' can vary in price from $20.00 to $90.00, it all depends on the hard parts included.

The kits that I sell are basic kits to do a standard rebuild and any additional hard parts you need are sold seperatly.

Greg, do you stock the parts (hangers, rods, etc) to rebuild the 1975-76 800 CFM Q-jets as well as the earlier models?

    Randy,
I stock 'race calibration' kits for the later 75+ Q-Jet carbs. Kit contains assorment of jet. rods. hangers. springs, ect.

I don't currently stock indivigual rods for the later Q-jets, but I'm sure that I could get them if you let me know what you need.

That would probably work for me. I have both a 75 and a 76 Buick 455 Q-jet to work with, and one of them will end up on my 455 that I am building for my 67 Riviera. I am sure that I will have to richen it up some from the original specs, as the carbs of that vintage were all built during the first gas crisis. I will check your website for the pricing and let you know when I am ready to go through the carb. Thanks, Randy
