Who makes the best repro gas tank ofr a '71 GS? I would like to purchase the tank with the filler neck installed. My car also has evaporative emissions, and has vent tubes at both front corners. Any advice? Thanks, Ken
I used a spectra premium tank in my 71. I looked great, then I cut the bottom out and installed a sump........ :beer

My spectra tank had the filler neck, but its specific to a 1971 model. The 1970 is a different part number.
It does have the filler neck, but to be honest I haven't taken it out of the box yet. It is specific to '71 so it should have the correct vents- but I can check. And it is clearly not just generic as the '70 versions do not come with a filler neck.
Ken, I can tell you that the spectra tank does have all of the vent connections just like the original tank did. I compared them side by side, before I swapped them out. My original tank was in great condition but I didnt want to cut it up for the sump. The spectra is a very nice part, IMHO.

That is an incredible price, I paid twice that much for mine. And I was buying direct from spectra in pallet quantities. I have no idea how rock auto does that, but they certainly arent making much money on that part.
