I use a 2 quart Master Lube set-up. Use it as a primer and also in case I lose oil pressure. On a cold engine start-up I hit the button and I get 15 pounds of pressure on the guage enough to prime it.
Checkout Master Lube one's. I am a dealer for them i have some in stock. they work good. I have the 2 quarter one's
I am using the same one Rick has, a Masterlube. The Masterlube must be mounted in a verticle position. It comes stock with an electric switch. The other that I have experience with is an Accusump and I believe it is a Moroso product. That has a bladder and can be mounted in any position but the electric switch is and add on. Mine is mounted in front of the radiator and is used primarily as a prelube system. The best part of having one is the lines you can use on people when they ask about it. My favorite is to say that it is the direct NOS block injection system. Then see if they buy it.
Thanks for all the replys!! I will look at the master lube system since i am mainly interested in the preoiling before startups. Tom
Perry I think it was TRX I am searching for the correct name. Did find another on the net which seems to be the same type bolt on replacement and in the same price range too. http://www.performancesuspension.com/GWTubeArms.htm
I have 2 left in stock the Master Lube one's like Rick's in his picture's. These are a grate way of preoiling before fire up and saving your Motor if you loose oil pressure
Tom, I will try to get some pics on how mine is located for you this week. Just so you can have another idea on location.
Jeff Do you still have one of those 2qt masterlube accumulators? Give me a call at 319-594-5392. Thanks, Tom :Comp:
