We had to leave before the finals but I can say that Beth broke out in the first round of her bracket by nearly 4 tenths and the wagon surprised her with a 12.90 at 106 :3gears: She was the happiest loser I've seen since Mike T. broke out with a 8.99 at Q.C. Dave England quailified number 1 and FINALLY won a race in TSM on Saturday, he also ran a new personal best with a 9.82 in Goldie...... :TU:
Just a quick note... ....because we're pooped! Bracket 3 was won by Ken Stasiak of Lostant, IL with his Burgundy Mist 70 GS w/ 350 engine. Bracket 2 was won by Rob Ross of Dearorn, MI with his 1972 GS. Bracket 1 was won by Rich Fitzmaurice of Homer Twp., IL with is 1971 GSX. Super V6 was won by Dennis Butt of Elwood, IL with his GN-powered Mustang. Quick V8 was won by Dennis Halliday of Reed City, MI with his '68 GS. The "Two Dennis'" squared off for King of the Hill - and Dennis Halliday took the crown! Beautiful weather, cool cars, fantastic people - a typical Buick event. And Beth - quit smiling yet?
