What a POS (Doug H will back me up on this)...

Where do I start with things I saw of concern???

The ad says drivable - NO WAY! We went around the block (I was the passenger) and lost the brakes. No front directional lenses in the bumper (missing), directional signal lever actually broken off column, no horn, blower motor didn't work, rear taillight (right side) out, carburetor not set correctly (hard to start/run-on after ignition is off), battery was dead, aftermarket radio didn't work, bondo in wheel wells, trunk needed replacement, bondo in quarters, radiator support rotted (both sides), headlight low-beams didn't work (both sides), exhaust leak at headers, exhaust LOUD, no interior lights (missing lenses/bulbs), headliner MOLDY, leak at back window.

    I couldn't find the VIN - where's the VIN on '66 models?

I couldn't agree more. POS! There is more bondo in the fenders and quarters than there was in mine! And that was substantial. Note I said "was". As of this week it's all gone, replaced by sheetmetal. Anyway, I called Jason from the car lot this morning and told him that there was nobody there yet, but I wouldn't buy it under any circumstances, for the reasons you mentioned. BTW Marco, the vin on my '65 is near the driver's door hinges when you open the door. Maybe it's the same? :Do No:
