Has anyone had to repaint the Wildcat on the sail panel? If you did what did you use?
On my 64 Wildcat, I am trying to figure out what to use to repaint the wildcat head? It is some sort of metallic paint. I have no clue on what you could use to make it look new again. :Do No:

Let me know what you could use. If I can't find anything. I will just paint it silver.

    Neil,
Good luck on that one. I've had the same problem, and painted one silver. It just doesn't look right. My next step was to find some silver leaf and put it in there. But I found the one I needed. Cost me $150, but I thought it was worth the cash. Finding the right paint is going to be a real pain. I even had my buds at MAACO search for it and they couldn't find what was needed. Maybe some of the guys on the board will have an idea.

Ya, I was thinking it was gonna be tough to find.

I will continue to look around, but I hope someone has done this before.

My plan for the roof, is to paint it a pearl white, with some silver metal flake. So I need to find something that works with it.

and it would just plain look bad without the wildcat emblems!!
