    OK guys,

I am on a information hunt. I would like to hear some input on how yall set up your wildcats for the "cool runner" to work ? Pumps, lines, cool cans, mounting spots, etc. How'de yall do it ?? I am thinking about it now and haven't decided whether or not I am gonna mess with it. I have heard several times that it does indeed work though, thus my interest. And from one broke dad to whoever, I figured why not look into it a little deeper. I mean, the holes are there, may as well use them if I can. And it may be worth a few h.p. :Do No:

    Comments please.....

    later.......

I was just getting to the same thing when I realized that my intake was butchered by the idiot(cleaned up for this post) that I bought it from. It's on its way to Tri Sheild Emergency room for surgery and physical therapy as we speak. I was considering brass fittings in the intake with an Auto Zone windsheild washer pump to a Moroso fuel cooler tank filled with ice. The intake only holds about a quart or so of fluid so it shouldn't need a big pump. I hadn't thought it out in great detail as I'll have to wait to get the intake back first.

Dave, I used to run a similar set-up on my turbo V6. A double walled intake pipe going into the intake manifold. The problem is the water will heat up real fast negating any gains other than one trip down the strip. I used to put ice water in the resiviour in the staging lanes and after the run it would be hot water! You'd have to have a 50 gallon cooler filled with ice water in the trunk if you wanted it to last a while........:Dou:

I don't have an answer as to what type of pump to use here, But a windshield washer pump would not move anywhere near the amount of water that would need to be moved to make this set-up work to any benefit. Jim Burek
