Done a lot of searching but cant find a definitive answer if the 255/60's will rub.

    Im proposing...

    Front
    15x7 Buick Rally
    BF Goodrich TA Radial
    255/60R15

    Rear
    15x8 Buick Rally
    BF Goodrich TA Radial
    275/60R15

The set of 4 is $581.25 shipped from Coker Tire - no one else seems to have the 255/60's

    Hi Curtis,

I have the same combo in the front and the 255/60s don't rub on my '72. I bought my tires used with 500 miles from a local board members :)

Phil It really *is* a 350...

I've got 275/40-17s and they don't rub. You should be OK.

I heared of 255-60-15s might rub during full lock on the swaybar as some people on the board experianced it.
Just have to keep in mind every car has different clearences. The same goes for brands and actual tire dimensions..
I'm going to try and put 17x10s up front...but this is going to only work with modifided inner fenders or non at all..

My 255/60-15 would rub slightly but only on full-lock turns.

also factory worn springs could make it rub over bumps...obviously new springs would remeby that

if u have old weak springs, then the tires will probably rub. new springs solve the problem.

    Ever think about
    325-50-15 for the rear
