Will a turbo 350 tranny bolt up somehow to a 300?

I have a 64 Skylark with the 300, and the original 2 speed tranny intact (works pretty well). However, as I was thinking of rebuilding with a shift kit, and the turbo 350 idea popped in my head. How much pain is involved with bolting a turbo 350 to a 300? Is it simple or is it just too much hassle?

I have a TH-350 installed in my 67' 300ci Buick Skylark and it fits and works like a charm, however does anyone know how I can install the kickdown cable to the stock 2bbl rochester? :3gears:

Well, the deed is done. I bought a tranny for the Skylark - a Coan Racing TH350...now I gotta decide on a torque converter. I'm thinking about a stall around 2200 to 2500. Any thoughts?

Have you installed this yet? I have the same question about the kickdown switch. The 350 from a '69 has a kickdown attached to the accellerator linkage inside the car. I'm not sure how to adapt to the '65 Skylark linkage yet.

Are you going to be more street or strip?

I'd probably shoot for 2500 and a quality cooler.
