will they fit?

    On the rear of my 71 skylark I want to run a set of M/T radial 275 60 15 on stock 15x7 steel rims . Has anybody run this combo.

    They will fit, but that tire will want an 8" rim. You will find that the tread on each side is pulled up a bit on the narrower rim. You will see it after you do a burnout. I have mine on 8" rims.

    Yes, the 275/60 x 15 will fit fine and the suggestion to use an 8 inch rim is a good one. I've gone to a fatter tire yet, the 295/50 x 15 and put them on modified Buick Rallye 8 inch rims. They are the same overall diameter as the 245/60 x 15s on the front but much fatter.
