I am currently looking for wind laces and the hard plastic piece around my bench center arm rest. My interior is white and I understand they are next to impossible to fine good pieces for. I am looking to dye some pieces. 1) What is the best method to take to do this? and, 2) Is there a reccommended color to start with, or to stay away from to do this? Thanks, Mike
White plastic is always a problem due to chalking. Best bet is a light color like sandlewood or saddle. I think you can make ones from the full size work. I had a 73 LeSabre and I sold it to someone for the same reason. You can make them work. I will check the local yards on Sat to see what I can find. Send email to GStage1@buickperformance.com
maybe I can help Mike, I may have an extra set, I will have to look. I have been collecting white interior parts, but I don't know for sure. I may even have a pair that I have already dyed 72 white. Do you need any thing other than the 2 items you list? Maybe look at the pictures I've added on this thread. http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=56581 The set I have would be like these as I dyed them at the same time. Troy
I am thinking they would be well enough. I do not know of anything elase other than the 2 items I am inquiring about now. I have a complete seat cover sets and door panels already and good arm rests to go in also. What prices are you looking for? And shipping to Brunswick, GA 31523? Thanks for the reply. Mike
