I am looking at my wind lace trim that runs from under the kick panel up on the inside of the A pillar to the top of the windsheild on my 64 convertible. It is the hard plastic covered flexible part that looks like regular wind lace but then has another plastic molding tucked under it that looks like another seal to the outside (doorside) but it is like plastic.

Did convertibles only get this because my 67 hardtop doesnt have it? What does it do? Do I need to put it back on?

    Thanks
