I have a side window glass and the metal bracket has come off it. What glue do I use to reattach it to the glass??? :Do No:

Hmmm - I think glass setting tape is for stationary glass. I should have said this is for the power window bracket that pulls the window down and pushes it up. I think the pulling, especially if the window is stuck (like with ice) might pull it loose. I was thinking of an epoxy or other glue??????

I'm confused Bill. Is this on the GS or the Boat?
Most door and rear glass is bolted through the channel on the regulator.
Have you removed the panel to see what the problem may be?

If you mean the rear side glass with the chrome U-channel that holds the rubber seal....there is supposed to be a rubber u-channel seal that goes on the glass then you tap the chrome on with a rubber hammer.

Sorry - I should have said this is on a Dodge Van. I figured all power windows are the same??? Its the bracket at the bottom of the glass that connects to a power window regulator and holds the glass. I checked with a glass shop and they use urethane like used to glue newer windshields on. I'll give that a try. Thanks!
