I got the windshield and backglass clips from “CARS”, but can’t confirm if they are the correct ones. They seem to be all the same type for both the Windshield and the backglass. Can anyone confirm these?
This is the rear window clip of a 70 GS. Your clip appears correct for the rear window I do not recall what the front window clips looked like.
And you have to get the correct height ones, too. I had some issues getting some of the rear trim to "clip" in to the ones I had installed a couple years ago. Pulled one out and found out there were several that were shorter, which kept the trim from reaching the catches in the clips. Always try to keep some of the originals if you have them, and at least match them up with the new ones.
This is from Ames. G134F is what I remember on the front. The originals were red however. I know I have some but can’t find them.
I remember them on the sides if my memory is still good? Maybe the top too? Your best bet Is to have a handful of each and let body or glass guy figure it out. An older glass guy would be better than a kid used to new stuff.
