windshield spacers & headlining tips

    i am open to any tips about making the spacers for my 67s windshield, and if there's a site on how to headline my car. i have the tape and the caulk for the window, but i need about five more spacers thanx wade

    I never used those spacers. They just never seemed to fit correctly. I just make sure my helper understands to hover the windshield over the opening and make sure it is centered.

    Yeah, I've had to pull the windshield back out a couple of times and relay in new caulk because I wasn't happy with how it turned out, but in the end it is OK.

    As for the headliner... EVERYBODY who has done one ALL says the same thing: take it to a shop and have them do it. You'll never get it to look OEM correct, and a shop will charge the same to either install a headliner or to correct your mistakes and pull out the wrinkles.
