I have a 71' coupe with A/C and floor shift and am in need of a wiring harness with fuse block. My question is; are there other years that interchange or is the 71' a year only specific item? I have tried a few salvage yards and they keep telling me that the A/C is the issue and are just not out there, any body got any ideas?

Has to be 70-2 Skylark w/AC.

If you just need a fuse box...you can use one from any GM car from 1970-2.

Thanks, I thought that all 3 years would work, but wasn't sure.

There are some diferences in all three years. They all carried different part numbers and there were two different for 70 and 71. One with gauges and one without. 72 used the smae with/without gauges but used a jumper. You can buy a new one through American Autowire but they cost $475. If you want it cheaper get the part number off American Auto wire site and then go to Rock Auto and do a part number search with American as the manufacturer. The savings will be huge. I got a new one for my GSX and they are real nice.

Also there is an AC extension that you need to have. The harnesses are the same otherwise.
