I can see the replies already... Head over to the VW Vortex forums and find out what this is all about or scroll down to see a picture (edited with "owned" though). BTW, "Wrong hole man" refers to the "seller" who refilled oil with coolant via the "oil" hole.
I wonder what that guy thought the radiator cap was doing in the valve cover I know a guy who put oil in his master cylinder when somebody told him his car needed some oil...
...and I know someone who put antifreeze in their washer bottle for winter use :error: ..don't worry, it was a capri And the picture above - wouldn't the coolant be 'dirtier' being run in the engine for a while? uzzled:
An old good friends Dad had a girl friend who though you put everything in the gas cap and it found its own way. She poured oil and coolant into the gas tank.
Who among us cant say that we've done this once or twice. I can't. uzzled: :error: Does this mean theres an "anti freeze ring" among the other rings for each cylinder.o No:
If the guy really rebuilt it, there wouldn't have been oil in it to begin with until it was time to put the "oil" in. Either that or he "flushed" the engine, lol.
You know I seen a pic by accident today that made me rethink a common problem. "Where is my flashlight?" Women put things in the strangest place. Course when I can't find something it usually got stuck in the junk draw. Can't find your favorite screwdriver? Well someone came and found it, used it then put it in the junk draw. I still don't get that. Put it back where it was laying on the garage floor.
The guy (who works at the shop that this car was brough in to) apparently popped the drain plug, saw the anti-freeze, put the plug back in and then grabbed his camera to take pictures.
not the brightest guy in the world. however , my niece filled the crankcase of my sister-in-law's new lawnmower with gasoline . not the brightest girl in the world . guess who received a HELP phone call ? I . And i bailed her out .
