Like the title says. Looking for a floor shift tilt column for my 1966 Skylark. Would like to pick one up at BG if possible.
Can you post a pic? I would think the 66-67 would both fit. If anyone knows for sure please speak up.
also 67 has the emergency flasher on the column ............. 66's dont ..... just my observation.........from the cars I have had..... ST
alan, i cant believe it, but i found the column today, i moved a car in the shop, and opened the trunk, and there it was...i knew i had it, but couldnt figure out what i did with it...for some reason I put it in the trunk of my GT37.. Anyway, same deal, i will post pics in the morning when i get back out there, i took it from a 66 GS floor shift auto car, and its nice and tight, never screwed with, the special turn sig switch is nice and the TILT rag joint assy is there...the car was super low miles, but just sat for 35 years, waiting for the owner to build it, it just rusted away...i sold everything here, and this is the only thing i have left of it i didnt use. Its blue..if that matters..
Thanks Mark. :TU: I really wanted to replace the column when I have the buckets and center console put in.
Yep, got the buckets, brackets, center console, turbo 400 shifter and tach and housing. Got the tach and housing from you. The car currently has a column shift tilt but the floor shift tilt was the missing piece. Took three years to collect all the parts. I'll probably do new carpet, door panels and reupholster the back seat while I'm at it.
