WTB: 455 in Minnesota

Howdy everyone, I'm looking for a Buick 455 for my Skylark. Prefer low mileage runner or good core. Or possibly a good lead on a rebuilt short block. Well let me know what you have or any direction for this. Thanks in advance for your help. BTW I'm in the St. Paul area, but willing to travel some.

 

Someone will have one for you I think....I have lots of cores but not quite local!!

 

I have core stuff to be built-am in the west metro-get back if you want to go that way-

 

I have a complete motor that I took out of a 70 Riviera with the tranny still bolted to it. I live in Bemidji, that might be to far for you let m know.

 

I have a 455 core, with no heads.
Has been sitting outside for a couple years now.
I believe it is a 1973 motor.
I live in Duluth MN.

Bet he would know some in your area. He knows a little about Buicks too!

 

I've got several complete engines with no water damage from laying outside. All are loose good 455 cores. One or two might be missing a carb, starter, etc. I'm just outside St Cloud and I have a tractor to drop one or more into your truck or trailer. I have trannys too. How many do you want? $400 each. I saw a running 1970 455 in the Minneapolis craigs list today. The guy lives near Duluth. wants 3800 and his ad sez 5000 miles since rebuilt, stage 1 heads, used ta parts and you can hear it run. If its all true, no better value than I know within driving distance for you.
