I think your problem is the bracket that holds the cable on to the intake,the 2 barrel has a short bracket,the 4 barrel has a longer bracket,it will make your cable fit.Take a picture of your bracket,I'm sure its the short one.If you need it,I have the longer one.Bruno.

Hi all, I don't know if I need a 4 barrel cable or bracket. I think someone said when going from a 2 to a 4 you need a new cable? Then here I read you just need the bracket? I had a stock 350-2, upgraded to a 350-4 TA Stage 1 intake and it worked...(not sure if I had the right amount of play/length etc.). Here is a pic of what is installed. The motor is at the engine builder still but took this before I sent it off. What do I need if anything? thanks

 

That's a 350 2 barrel bracket stock manifold,my guess is that on the intake you have the holes are further back then the stock manifold.I sold 3 of the other brackets,and so far no one told me they did not work.I still have a couple of those brackets.Bruno.
