Hi, i'm looking for both rear 1/4 tinted glass for my 67 gs convertible. i bought a pair from a board member here,but,i guess,i didn't say i needed them for a convertible. and when i went to put them in,they didn't fit :eek2: so,now i'm looking again. thanks Michael
Uh Oh..... are you sure they don't fit? What is different Michael? I compared HT and ragtop 1/4 windows side by side in my shop a few weeks ago and didn't notice a difference? I still have a set of each (non-tinted), I'll compare them closer tomorrow night to see exactly what the difference is. For what it's worth... I just sold a complete set of HT tinted glass (minus the 1/4 windows since I never had a set) on ebay, and ALOT of people emailed me asking about the 1/4 windows. You should be able to re-coupe your costs pretty easily.
windows Hi Rick, they are different, the back of the window is longer :laugh: i went to put it in,and it was to long,so,i compared it to the old ones,and it has a longer point. the ones i got from the board member are in excellent condition. i really wanted to use them. :af: thanks michael
I finally had a chance to dig out the other 1/4 windows I have and compare them closer.... and you are absolutely right! Not that I doubted you... well OK, maybe a just a little bit ..... p They are REALLY different between HT and ragtop windows.
