Hi Guys, my neighbour is looking to buy a Limemist Skylark or his second choice is a bittersweet mist. He's not a computer guy so I told him I would put his search on this forum, I am sure he has reached out to some of his contacts as well. Hes looking for a #2 - # 3 car ,thanks Curtis

As they say, "A good horse is never a bad color"

Your neighbor is really narrowing down his selection of cars. Kinda like looking for a needle in a haystack.

I know those two colours were not a big percentage of production, maybe 5-10% between the two of them, he's also looking for a light purple metallic GTO ( not sure on year . 1966 ?? ) which I would presume is even tougher. Cheers Curtis

I think the GTO color is Iris Mist Purple. There is a convert local here but not for sale.

Thanks, that's definitely the colour Roy's wife showed me a picture of. I will let him know about the dealer that has the one for sale. Cheers

There was a board member (Hurlbird) selling a lime mist convert cloned to a GSX on here a few months back. It is a very nice car, very solid a drove great.
Do a search on here and you will find it

I know of a '67 GTO that may be for sale in its original Plum Mist color. The guy is working on a Chevelle so the GTO may need to go.

I just looked at the pictures of the 65 and this 67 is darker than that. Which color is the guy looking for?

Thanks Guys, for the GTO the colour that was shown was the correct one, its light purple. I know he has no interest in a convertible, I will check on the GS. I think he really wants just a Skylark , Cheers Curtis

Hi Guys, I was just talking to Roy today, he found the GTO in the colour he wanted ( light purple ), tri power. Its coming out of Arizona apparently. As for the Lime mist its for his wife/children to drive to shows with him, so 10k range . I told him about Fastlane so he was going to call them tomorrow, ( plus the guys on this site ),he also has a line on a Lime mist car from somebody he has called as well. I would think the purchase of a Skylark is imminent. Thanks Curtis
