WTB Roller or complete Drag Car 68 to 72

I've got a very nice rust free blue/white 65 Skylark that could be traded for the right drag car. I prefer 68-69 A body. Back-half cars or stock suspension. I'm looking for clean bodied cars set up and legal for 10's to low 11's. Let me know what you have. Have truck and trailer, will travel! I can send pictures of the Skylark via email, and I can pay cash for the right race car. My problem is this....the 65 is too nice to make into a drag car....therefore I wanted to see what's "out there". I dyno a new JW engine next week so I better decide what I'm going to do with this pretty blue Skylark soon! And, if anybody wants to make me an offer north of $9,000...call me at 320-492-1880. I've got a rebodied 72 Stage 1 roller. Chassis restored, bodywork and painting done, ready to put together. Would make a really nice car, but as unoriginal as it is, it pretty much has no value restored to stock. So a perfect candidate for a race car.

 

I have a 72 skylark 2dr post car. with 455 4spd, but open rear end. a rust free car..
If ur interested shoot me a PM and u can drive down to Mankato and take a look....

I bought Pete's 68 California GS "back half" roller. I think it's a page or two down in Cars for Sale. Sent him the hard earned dough..., it's getting hauled to MN this Thursday. I think he has some pics on his post. I dyno'd a fresh 470 with Jim Weiss about 2 weeks ago at 594HP and it's going into Pete's bracket car. (Mine now!) I have not raced brackets in over 15 years but I'm excited to hit the burn out box again! Jim P
