We have a 71 Skylark 455 and currently have a newer generation GM HEI unit installed. Sadly, can't use our dual snorkel intake as the HEI is too large. Need something small that will give us newer technology. Car is more of a weekend only usage car to go to the grocery store. Want something reliable and not crazy expensive.

Re: WTB: Stock looking distributor with Pertronics upgrade (or similar) for 71 Skylar Hey Steve! Nice to see you here again! :Smarty: ALLOW me to suggest running an K&N air filter when driving... and when you are at a show or just showing off your hot rod engine to your 'buds'... set the factory 'dual snorkel' air cleaner on... might have to use a spacer on the carb... and when you drive away, put the K&N back on. Just a simple suggestion! :Brow: Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Re: WTB: Stock looking distributor with Pertronics upgrade (or similar) for 71 Skylar Believe I have an old Alum spacer around here somewhere. That should do the trick. Thank you for the tip and have a very Merry Christmas.
Re: WTB: Stock looking distributor with Pertronics upgrade (or similar) for 71 Skylar Many of the late 80's full size Cads have the spacer.
