    Hello,
I am wondering if anyone out there has, or knows of a Super nice Skyhawk for sale? I had an 85 T Type that I bought new (my first car) and I would love to have another Hawk. I loved that car. Any knowledge of one would be appreciated. I might even have a finders fee for someone that finds me the right one! Thanks for your time!

I'll see what I can do. I looked at a 34K mile 85 last summer almost a new car. Stick shift al original even the tires and never abused. Burgandy. I almost bought it for 3500.00

    About a year too late . . .

Sold my '79 Roadhawk for $3,000 (see signature). The 4-speed was a lot of fun, and actually moved pretty good for a lowly 6-cylinder. About as original as you can get, including the Uniroyal tires, original hose clamps on all the engine hoses, etc.

Amazing it survived the winters up here; but judging by the miles, it hadn't seen much salt.

Definitely fun cars, and If I could go back, I probably wouldn't have sold it.

That would be just the ticket! Mine was a 5 speed with the Grand National interior. Prettiest and funnest car I have ever owned! SERIOUSLY! Let me know if you can get me more info on it.
    Thanks again! John

    I've been watching one on e-bay - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0554821369&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT.

Not mine. I just miss the mid-80s when the domestic carmakers would slap a turbo on anything and everything (remember Chrysler's turbo-minivan?).

Time, plus lack of parts, plus distance, plus storage, plus other projects make this a non-starter (no pun) for me, but maybe I can live vicariously through you?

    Happy holidays.

Anymore help in locating one of these? STAGED70, you find out anymore on the 85 you had a bead on? Remember I have a finders fee for the right one!
    Thanks, John

I know: too far away, but it is a Skyhawk I really would have loved to buy for my GF, but she disliked the color (women :puzzled: ):

That zip code is in a VERY good area of Columbus...the northwest side/Upper Arlington area. Lots of elderly folks there. Could be a real find!
