Looking for a pair of 70-71 GS hood foams that seal the air cleaner to the grille plates. I dont want to buy new ones becAuse I am keeping the patina on the car and NOT restoring it. New hood foams would just look dumb. If someone has a decent usable pair let me know. Louie

ya mean ~ like these? I have been saving these OEM yello-greenish seals, as they are original from my 70 Stage 1 4 speed I have been trying to ressurrect for over 9 years... prolly would have been done except the economy went south.. nevertheless, I wasnt quite sure about keeping these foams for the exact same reason you are looking for a set... My thinking is, IF EVER my car gets completed, I prolly will put NEW seals on this frame off restoration... So, if you are serious, I will gently remove these original foams and send them to you for $75 shipped. I know. I know, that is not cheap, however, I am vasilatting on IF I really want to part with them or not. Anyway, if you are interested, just let me know. If you are not interested, I understand. Wheelz, thanks for the reply. Like you said, I am not looking to pay that much, even though that is pretty close to what I am looking for. I'd even consider a set in worse shape.
