made by Charlie Evans, seen here George's site http://www.buickperformance.com/ValveSpringChange.htm I have a different style that does work, but, it is a pain in the arse plus I really like this style. Thanks.
Cut up an old rocker, then weld a small piece of pipe to the pushrod end that you can slip a larger pipe into for leverage. It'll only cost you some time and a rocker & shaft..
I agree, it is not a difficult fab up and if I had a couple scrap rocker shafts, I would do just that. Since I don't have a scrap rocker shafts and would like to get this before the weekend so I can replace those tired springs and get back some ponies, I would look at buying one. It is hard to jusitfy shipping cost for scrap shafts from someone here to me, and by that time and effort, I could just buy it, and it may come with that fancy red plastic grip handle bar cover:laugh: :TU: Does anyone have a lead on a used one? T/A http://www.taperformance.com/www/PDF/TAPerformance_Catalog.pdf, at $85 I am hope I can find it here for less, borrow????.MO
