wts 1962 2 door hardtop Lesabre Rusty needs everything

    500 obo
    will trade for buick stuff

    1962 2 door hard top rear glass intact no other glass
    front floors rusted
    front fenders ok little rust doors ok
    hit in pass rear
    rear end and drums intact
    no front or rear spring
    rust in rear of roof
    rust in rear of trunk
    frame is nice and stright
    streeing box intact with power pump
    no front drums
    dash intact

    I'm going to send this car to the wreckers in few days if you're in the san francisco bay area come get her.
    car is in concord ca 94518

    OK 55: If that has a good 401/2 barrel and Dynaflow I'd be very interested. I'm in Castro Valley and could get it any time. Mitch.

    no motor,,,, the trans and drive line still in there condition unknow

    Before you scrap it you might consider listing it for part out. Those 3 port front fenders are pretty hard to find and I'd bet there's someone out there that would give you good money for them. Also if you can check the rear end ratio and it's a 3:42 or 3:91 ratio it would also be highly desirable. If it was a 3:91 hell I would consider getting the car on that alone.

    My thoughts exactly.

    I too would be interested in the third member depending upon the ratio. Most likely a 3.23 open, but you never know...

    I'm new to the 62 got a pink 62 for my wife and this old girl came with it.

    I would fix this one if i was not moving .

    how do i check the rear end ?


    I hate to do it but she will have to go to wreckers soon

    Easiest way to check the rear end is to jack it up and spin one of the wheels. If both rear wheels spin its a posi. To determine the gear ratio, count the number of driveshaft revolutions for every revolution of the wheel.

    Just add that if it's an open diff you will either have to spin both wheels the same direction at the same time (they will just want to spin oposite directions if you try turning one wheel and the driveshaft won't spin) one revolution while counting the driveshaft rotations, or only jack up one wheel (while leaving the other wheel on the ground so it won't spin) spin it one revolution count the driveshaft revolutions and multiply it by two. Also is there an engine and transmission? If there's a transmission in there don't forget to put it in neurtal (from the way it's sitting it doesn't look like there is an engine)
