Yellow wire--radio power?

Hey guys, I don't have my wiring diagrams handy for my 72 GS. I am wiring up a new voltmeter, and currently have an unused bright yellow wire dangling where the radio used to reside. Am I correct in assuming that this is the radio power wire? If it is, this would appear to be a good tie in for the voltmeter, as it is a very low drawing item that should only be energized with the key in the run or accesory positions. Thanks, Rudy E

Yes, the radio power wire is yellow. Check it with a voltmeter or test light for key on power. You can also go directly to the fuse block.

Thanks, Larry. I'll probably just tie into it, as it is in the perfect spot for the guage hook up. Rudy E
